What type of protein is best for including in a muscle building diet

Egg is a rich source of protein that is easily digested and used by the body to become the basic building block of your muscle growth. It is easily available and is essential item in all types of muscle building diets.

Chicken and turkey are other great sources for muscle building protein. Lean meats are also low in saturated fats which is recommended even for those on a medical problems. Beef and lamb are also great muscle building proteins but the high amount of saturated fats make them unattractive for some.

A small quantity of carbs like sweet potatoes, oats, whole grains are essential for a healthy diet and to build long-lasting muscles. Carbs consumed just before a work-out help in giving a short-term energy-boost. While complex carbs help in muscular activity over the course of the day.
